| The Special Operations Vest is based on our Helicopter Crew Vest with
design features specific to the needs of Special Operation personnel.
The vest is inflatable which is more comfortable to wear, has less
bulk, and is easy to don. It has been designed to be comfortable while
wearing a side arm and restraint straps in an aircraft cockpit. The
flotation bladder is made of highly visable yellow fabric to facilitate
sighting in water Standard Features include independent twin cell
configuration, 3-layer NOMEX outer cover with Velcro closure, knife,
custom pockets designed to hold the following: PRC-90 radio, HEEDS
bottle holster, signal mirror, MK-13 flare, orange whistle, two oral
inflation tubes, leg straps, beaded handles for ease of inflation, neck
gusset for chafe protection, fully adjustable for waist/chest sizes
42"-68", mildew resistant 1.5" Mil-W-4088 webbing, water activated TSO
C-85 locator light, and reflective tape on flotation cell binding. |
